Reacciona Hailey ante la enfermedad de Justin Bieber

Tras las críticas que recibió Justin Bieber al revelar que fue diagnosticado con la enfermedad de Lyme, su esposa Hailey Baldwin lo defiende.

Mediante su cuenta de Twitter, la modelo estadounidense invitó a “los que intentan minimizar” la gravedad de la enfermedad a investigar:

“Burlarse y menospreciar  una enfermedad que no entiendes nunca es el camino, todo lo que se necesita es educarte a ti mismo”, sentenció Baldwin.

For those who are trying to downplay the severity of Lyme disease. Please do your research and listen to the stories of people who have suffered with it for years. Making fun of and belittling a disease you don’t understand is never the way, all it takes is educating yourself.

Asimismo, agradeció a quienes le ayudaron a informarse sobre el padecimiento y a la cantante Avril Lavigne por “educar” a la gente sobre el Lyme (infección bacteriana causada por la mordedura de garrapatas).

“Quiero agradecer enormemente a @YolandaHadid y @bellahadid y @GiGiHadid por brindarme tanta claridad e información sobre la enfermedad de Lyme y por ayudar a responder mis preguntas sobre cómo afrontarla, los síntomas, etc. ¡Os amo 3 mujeres increíbles! Y envío mucho amor a @AvrilLavigne gracias por todo lo que haces para educar a la gente sobre Lyme. Eres increíble”, dijo.
