Canciones de amor, nostalgia y diversión, están apuntadas en la lista de los Premios Óscars para la terna a Mejor Canción Original.
La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas, ha presentado su lista de candidatos para la categoría de canciones originales del próximo año, con 70 películas haciendo la lista.
Para ser elegible, una canción debe contener tanto palabras como música y debe escribirse específicamente para una película lanzada este año. (La canción puede ser parte de la película o jugar durante los créditos finales.) La lista eventualmente se reducirá a cinco nominados. A principios de este año, el Óscar a la mejor canción original fue para “City of Stars” de La La Land. Benj Pasek y Justin Paul escribieron esas letras, y este año, compiten nuevamente con “This Is Me” de The Greatest Showman.
Las nominaciones al Óscar del 2018 se anunciarán el 23 de enero, y la ceremonia de premiación se realizará el 4 de marzo.
