El día de hoy la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (HFPA), anunció la lista de nominados a los Globos de Oro 2018, la cual es encabezada por el cineasta mexicano Guillermo del Toro con siete candidaturas, por su película “The Shape of Water”.
La 75° edición de la ceremonia, se llevará a cabo el 7 de enero en el hotel Beverly Hilton, de Los Ángeles, teniendo como anfitrión al comediante Seth Meyers.
“The Shape of Water” (La Forma del Agua) la cual lidera las nominaciones de los Critics’ Choice (14), competirá por el galardón a Mejor Película Dramática con Call Me By Your Name, Dunkirk, The Post y Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
En cuanto a la terna a Mejor Director, el mexicano tiene como rivales a Martin McDonagh (Three Billboards), Christopher Nolan (Dunkirk), Ridley Scott (All the Money In the World), y Steven Spielberg (The Post).
Asimismo, el filme chileno “Una mujer fantástica”, dirigido por Sebastián Lelio, está entre los nominados a Mejor Película De Habla No Inglesa.
Mientras que entre los nominados a Mejor Película Animada, “Coco”, el éxito de Disney*Pixar basado en la tradición mexicana del día de los muertos, se encuentra como una de las favoritas a llevarse la terna.
Por su parte, la serie con más nominaciones fue Big Little Lies, de HBO, con seis candidaturas.
